Third party postal address

I just sold item on eBay and selected no international postage, but my item was won by Malaysian user. I understand that I need to set my country preferences for this not to happen, selecting countries I don't wish to post to, so next time I'll look into this. My main concern is that there is a third party person and postal address, in the US which is on the ebay order. My question is. am I covered by paypal if I send my item to the other persons address in the US even though the ebay member is registered in Malaysia. All a bit confusing!!

If you don't send the item to the address specified on the Paypal payment advice, you'll forfeit your seller protection. It's not unusual for people to buy an item and have it shipped elsewhere, possibly as a gift, or to their home address if they're overseas at the time. The point is, you need to send it where the buyer asks you to, otherwise you'll lose your Paypal Seller Protection.
