I havnt been on ebay for a couple of years. Have sucesffuly listed 66 items for sale in the past 100% rating. Returned today to list some items and was not allowed to list one item as it was over $20.00.
Apparently "This listing would cause you to exceed the amount you can list. You can list up to $10.00 more in total sales this month. Please consider reducing the starting price or request to list more." This seems to be the most ridiculous ruling of them all. The one item I want to list is $20.00 value, however I can only list up to $10 in a month...... Just how is this helpful at all? Seriously the dumbest rule I've seen on here.

You need to request an increase to your selling limit, As your selling has been dormant, you are seen as a new seller. You will also have a 21 day hold placed on sales funds,

I have the same problem! I am not allowed to sell anything this month because I have not sold anything this month?????
Does this mean I have to sell lots of little things for $10 before I can sell my item for $180?
Its only $180. Im not trying to sell the f--ing crown jewels

Because you have not sold anything in over a year eBay consider you a new seller
Same rules for everyone
Under my selling ID, I was a seller for 16 years, 100% positive as a seller
I have not sold since early last year, so if I were to list something today, I would also be seen by eBay as a new seller
If you have not gone onto Managed Payments yet, you will also be subject to the 21 day hold on funds
Did you request a selling limit increase ?
