Ok, we've done the Packing Peanuts and the Bubblewrap
Now,
Tissue Paper
Is there anywhere to buy decent white tissue paper without having to go to the newsagency and buy it in packs of 5 for $5?
I've tried the cheaper stuff, and it is worse than home brand toilet paper soooo
what do the peeps here do for bulk tissue paper?
Nice good quality stuff that doesn't rip if it gets a bit of pressure applied, and is kind of soft and pliable like the stuff in the hallmark packages.
you know, the Sorbent of tissue papers?

They escape!
They Multiply!
They migrate throughout your entire house!
They are like Brussel Sprouts - LITTLE EVIL BALLS OF DOOM
Not to mention things like clinginess, static.
And even if you think you have a garbage bag full of them safely stored in the shed for future use,
they have a way of attracting spiders, bugs and all manner of dirt/dander (probably bug poo)
so then no longer suitable for future use and no longer white!

waiting...........
Shhh. Tis all about Crikey and the quest for perfect white tissue (no peanuts, no shreddings and no gummi nuffin)
The evening crowd scares me a little - I better go pack some parcels (sans gummi things)

Spoilerbesides, we solved a problem for you too, didn't we?
Morning...am still looking into acid free or recycled options available locally in the right weight/feel but have a short list of others including off white packing tissue (480 sheets/40 x 67cm for $15.50 plus post), crepe tissue in a primrose colour (500m roll for $25) and even some spraypainters masking paper in dark green (300m roll for $17.95). So yes, thanks, hopefully getting somewhere. The type of paper I really like seems to hail from Europe/UK and likely way more costly.

Probably a good thing then that the tiny mini pack I received (or would contemplate using) contains less than the recommended maximum for one sitting!

what is the recommended maximum time for sitting on the toilet?
Would two packets of theses gummy bears cause a person to exceeed that maximum sitting time?
What happens then?

Heard back from seller of off white tissue and it is only 17gsm so (for me) is not the right weight. Hopefully I can check out or get some samples of the other 22gsm and 40gsm stuff over the coming days! And hey, why NOT brainstorm about tissue and packaging products - it might help others (for those that like to go above and beyond weather wrap!)

I absolutely LOVE Brussels Sprouts, they are my all time favourite vege. I would eat them for every meal if the after effects weren't so bad 😄
