Ok, we've done the Packing Peanuts and the Bubblewrap
Now,
Tissue Paper
Is there anywhere to buy decent white tissue paper without having to go to the newsagency and buy it in packs of 5 for $5?
I've tried the cheaper stuff, and it is worse than home brand toilet paper soooo
what do the peeps here do for bulk tissue paper?
Nice good quality stuff that doesn't rip if it gets a bit of pressure applied, and is kind of soft and pliable like the stuff in the hallmark packages.
you know, the Sorbent of tissue papers?

Yes, I must say, I inhaled sharply when I saw the price LOL
I'd expect it to be made of gold for that price LOL
Interestingly though, during my quest for the perfect tissue paper, i have found some that claims not to leak, leach or whatever else they said meaning when it gets wet the colour doesn't leach out.

If you search crepe tissue paper there is some in primrose (looks to be pale yellow), seller tells me it is between light tissue and butcher paper in weight. It was used in the clothing industry to seperate different colours of fabric so it does not leach.
500m roll for $25 in the width I want seems pretty good to me (pick up only - said I am welcome to inspect)

Happy to help you out with some or even a sample if I get hold of a roll. He mentioned creme (cream?) so not sure if that meant the primrose or whether he ALSO has it in a cream colour which would be even better.

nice tissue paper
last time I bought I got carried away and got 960 Sheets of White Acid Free 600mm x 400mm
and then I cut the sheets into two again - so worked out about 2 cents a half sheet - but storage is a problem, every bed in the house has a stack of tissue paper underneath.

Yes I notice with the sheets of tissue paper I have left that I have to cut them down in size. Atleast with a roll I can just cut it to whatever length I want.

I was having a look around the Office Works site to see if they had anything that might be suitable. I found these, I thought they might be of use......
We have a shop here called Wrap Rite, but it doesn't look like they have a website. Nothing came up when I googled it, apart from directions to get there. They have absolutely anything you could possibly ever need (or so I'm told).

what I need next is those fake stick on wax seals to use on the back of envelopes etc
no idea what they're called though to search, and the last lot I got from Office Works were too big and chunky, but they don't seem to stock them anymore anyway
