Hi there
i usually use click n send to track all my parcels with australia post.
Today Australia Post told me my parcels are too light to send with tracking.
Has anyone else had this occur to them.
I could send my parcels without tracking but i have noticed that when i have used tracking, buyer's complaints were eliminated.
Buyers seem to target seller who cant prove postage so i am wary of sending items via regular post.

Any parcel under 500 grams can still be registered, or - if it fits - put into a pre-paid satchel (which has tracking but makes it harder to provide proof of posting for PayPal).
AP did offer a tracking only service for parcels over 500 grams (for $1.50, I think), but even if they still offer it, it doesn't give you any more documentation than a pre-paid satchel. IMO Click and Send is the best value service that covers the most bases, as long as your items are within the dimensions, or, if using satchels, under $100 in value.

Anything under 500g can be sent in the click & send 500g satchel; if the site refuses to proces it, just fill in higher weight. You can always put in bit of card board for extra protection 🙂

1. Registed post cost more than click and send so i wont be using that option
2. the parcel will not fit in the satchel so that wont work either
3 ii cant send the item in a satchel its too fragile and will get damaged (im selling artificial flowers)

even better, use sturdy box and if they say it is too light add more cardboard.

You don't have to use a satchel to use click and send. If you don't want to use registered, and the items are too big for a satchel, then use click and send with your own packaging - costs $8.15 last I checked, which is around about what it would cost if they did offer the $1.50 tracking on parcels under 500gm, and compared to $9.80 for registered.
