Trying to block bidders - not working

I have had several non payers recently, as Im sure everyone has : (

Trying to add them to my blocked bidder list, when I return to the list the ID I last put in, is not showing up, even though I am typing them in then pressing submit??

Instead of the ID,  weird numbers come up followed by the word "deleted"??

Sadly these days the list is getting longer and longer.......: (

Maybe you have more than 5000 (?) blocked bidders? I think it's 5000, but it's definitely finite.

To put the blocks for members that have 1 or more strike in the last 12 months  in place hover your mouse over account in your my ebay page and from the drop down click on Site Preferences then go down the list till you see Buyer requirements and to the right of that click on show then click on edit. From there you can put in place the blocks you want, to stop those you want to block from purchasing from you.

And if you are manually adding ID's to your list are clicking on confirm?

copy and paste the ID's to make sure sure they are accurate.

Yes, I have a couple of those too.  When I checked the buyer id there is a message from eBay.

"Sorry, this member is no longer at eBay!

The member that you have requested information about has requested that we close their account entirely."

The blocked members are in alphabetical order, but the deleted ones are at the bottom of the list.

I think ex user ID's can become numbers which means they're no longer registered. I've seen them in feedback pages and my blocked bidders list. It strange how so many recently added ID's turn out that way in your list.

that means that ebay have terminated their account and they are NARU

Which probably came about because they had too many non payer strikes

seems the system is working,

Either go to Live Help or ring ebay-think you've exhausted all possible suggestions.
