Trying to launch new product - Minimal viewings

I have created a new children's product that I am trying to get off the ground and have listed it on ebay a couple of times. The problem is that I have had very few people if any view the product. Can anyone suggest how I can bring more attention to the product and potentially get a sale! - Many thanks

Not really,  unless buyers know what the product is, the name, and what it is for, they won`t be searching for it, all you can do is list it with other popular and relevant childrens items and hope buyers will stumble across it when they look at your other items.

It's difficult to build awareness of a new product on a site like ebay, where most searches are fairly specific, so as suggested, having some items that can cross-promote it might help.

Aside from that, it may be beneficial to look around for some relevant sites and blogs willing to do something like a product review. There are also some that sell advertising space for relatively low amounts, sometimes you can negotiate a certain amount of free advertising in exchange for something else.

It may be easier for people to give you ideas if we could see the product. Perhaps you could list one so we know what you are talking about?

If the product "solves" a problem that you or somebody else were having and that is why you created it. You may be able to initially generate/increase interest by including the problem that you solved as keywords in your listing ie "male change table, piddle in eye, guard shield, mother safety hat  :|B-)

Hi, others here may disagree with me but you could always piggyback views from other items in your store as bait. If you are selling a new book designed for children, then perhaps get a feel for who your buyers might be, and think about what other items these people might look at or purchase online.  Put a few of them in your store, as BIN option simply to help generate a mixed audience and hopefully they will look at your other items.  It does not have to be a lot maybe 2-3 highly popular items that generate lots and lots of views. With the extra traffic to your items, you may generate some more interest.

Have looked at your listing and I would be slightly confused if I wanted to buy.  Firstly is the buyer buying one sheet or all that are shown in the photo. 

You say you can choose design - in the first picture there are 8 designs shown (I think) and the next pictures show 4 designs one of the animals is a dinosaur  not sure what the other animal is and what are the other 4 designs.

Ok, its not something that I would buy (and I have three kids) but if you think there is a need for it then these are some of the things I would do ...

1. Rethink the title. People won't search for "exciting new product" or "writable". Words like "party", "gift" or "label" would be more useful, I believe.

2. Lighten the photos. They are dark and don't do you any favours.

3. Look at a different category. Scrapbookers are unlikely to want your product.

4. Think of other uses for them other than to stick on the back of a card ie name tags, book labels etc

5. I think they are too expensive for only 8 stickers
