Hi there,
i've been off ebay for a while but recently decided to get back into it. i've spent the past few weeks on and off creating listings in Turbo Lister like I used to. Tonight I went to upload the listings and when it calculated fees it came up with $126 plus whatever the final value fee. I did a couple of tests straight off the website and at most the fees should cost me less than $7.
All items were 10 day
no scheduling
nothing over $20
84 listings in total over a variety of categories.
Has this happened to anyone else? is this just a glitch or is this a new hidden fee collector i'm not aware of? i'd really like not to have to re-type and re-do all these again one at a time.
thanks in advance for any advice

Did you do an update of TL before you started?

Did you actually upload the listings?
TL doesn't know what fees are applicable before the upload, the fees shown will be the standard fees for the categories of the item(s). eg Whenever I have free listings, TL tells me it will cost x cents until I upload, when the actual cost is $0.00
If you want to check it, use the eBay SYI and that will tell you the fees before you list.
But it's a fair bet the fees you pay will be the after listing ones.
$126 is the standard price for 84 listings at $1.50 per auction. However every non-store member gets 40 per month for free, so you can at least knock $60 off that. Stores get a minimum of 80 freebies per month, but that is only for BINs. If you have a store it would be a good idea to BIN, if not look at 40. Per month

I have no idea about turbo lister (I thought it was a swear word), but earlier tonight eBay told me that a few glitches I was experiencing was due to emergency site maintenance that they were doing at that time.
Keep in mind though, last week I was told by an eBay supervisor to contact Live World's tech support.

If you have not already used up any free listings this month just upload a couple, they will probably show a fee of $3 when the fees are calculated but after you upload it should say your fees are $0 and that you have saved $3.
If that is what hapens then you should be OK to upload all the rest, it will show the full fees of $1.50 each but the actual charge will only be for any listings over the first 40 for the month of October.

If it has been some since you have sold have you reviewed new pricing ??
Just a thought as you indicate that your goods are under $20 - and the cost of auctions now for all goods $0 - $100 is $1.50 per auction .
