Firstly :
My new 200 listings begin at midnight 1/3/16.
I have scheduled listings to appear around 8.30pm on the 1/3/16 - assuming as this is after midnight - & - the 200 free kick in again.
Secondly : (this ties in with the firstly)
Noticed I have 'recommendations' for photos.
Looking at the recommendations - to apply change there is a cost of 50c per item for those scheduled for listing on 1/3/16 - could leave those - until after then.
Not sure why the photos have recommendations - either they are not big enough - can someone explain - please - 1600 x 500 pixels - in kbs.
Also - thought it may have been the text - but all photos have it & not all have the recs.

I'm not sure how many listings I have with photo recommendations I've got, but there are a few. Most of my listings have 12 photos, none have less than 6. 95% of them are square. As for item specifics, I'm always being told to fix them. Not sure what they want, each item has a minimum of 8 item specifics. The ones that eBay have and also ones I've added myself.
One time I did change everything to suit their item specifics, just to see what happened, and next month they were telling me to make all these different changes. So, I changed them back to how I had them originally.

I get them too, including on listings that have 12 square photos! Someone really needs to fix the bots. They're out of control!

I've got an ID where around 99% of my pictures have permanent 'recommendations'. I've always assumed it's because they meet the minimum size but not the recommended size. I don't do square pics and I have no watermarks or text, and most listings only have one picture. I'm past caring why they say they need improving so long as they don't stop me listing (and my buyers can see what they're getting). I've got a few listings with larger pictures and they take forever to get the pictures to load, and they wouldn't load at all if I used their size recommendations!
The bots would be wigging out because you only have one photo. Your items only need one photo! Do they want you to take a front, back, sides, close up? I think it's pretty obvious what you are getting from that one photo. I had a few items a few years ago that only needed one photo. I got fed up with the constant harrassment about adding more photos, so I had 3 identical photos. That shut the bots up.
