I have had the mis fortune of dealing with a dodgy seller. Not only has he failed to supply the goods I have paid for,he has also refused to respond to any emails I have sent.I have opened a case in the resolution centre and he has still not replied. The case has now been escalated by me but I have noticed this seller is still operating. How can this be when he has had a flood of negative feedback from other disgruntled buyers over the past 2 weeks?

A seller can't close down their account until a certain amount of time has passed since their last transaction - I think it's 60 days but not 100% sure, so if they are NARU sooner than that, it would have been eBay shutting them down.
If the transactions are disputed after the funds have been withdrawn, and the buyer(s) win their disputes, PayPal will refund the money and pursue the seller to get the money back.

they will NEVER removed a dodgy seller if it is one of their protected ones. And yes this actually happens!!

I feel a bit naive then if all those were listed as used coz I only looked at one lot.Next time I will be more thorough.

I contacted ebay and they are investigating the seller. With a bit of luck they will shut this dodgy brother down.If not then at least he will be aware that someone is on to him. Thanks for everyones feedback. It was very helpful.
