Unfair feedback removal or response from ebay

Hi,

How do I get feedback reviewed.

I have had negative feedback left for late delivery of item by aust post.

The buyer cotacted me to say I he had not recieved his item, so I sent another item

in the post the next day. when he recieved it he then left negative feedback for late delivery.

I posted him 2 items within next business day as I say I will, kept in contact with him to let

him know what was happening.

He doesnt respond when I sent him an email asking how I am responsible for late or lost post.

The buyer has only feedback of 2 before me.

I have messged ebay twice & they have not even acknowledged they have received them.

What do I do. Thanks

You can contact eBay via a support ticket using the correct categories, but in my opinion I doubt will change the feedback for you. The buyer did not have a positive experience with you even though its not your fault, eBay doesn't hold responsibiilty of your postage handling (but we pay their postage fees and maybe they should).

I hear theres a contact number to call them directly and talk to the staff to get them to remove it directly but in my opinion eBay will probably do nothing.

What if you packed it poorly that a simple rain destroyed the package and caused your item to be lost?

Thats just one scenario, however eBay has no way of knowing if you packed it well or not.

But theres no harm in trying a phone call, but the lesson is that each individual buyer have different personalities and its impossible to cater and impress them all the way you want.

Another way to remove feedback is to request a feedback revision. Make sure the buyer agress with you before requesting it because you only get 5 chances a year or every 1000 feedbacks or something...

Unfair feedback removal or response from ebay

Hi,

I would give them a call and ask if there's anything they can do for you here. Click on Customer Support, then contact eBay tab, select the link referring to feedback at which point you should be given a 1-800 number and a PIN. Their rules for feedback removal are very strict and they'll remove it in a very limited number of cases but I have had negative feedback removed in the past. My experience has also been that they take weeks to respond to e-mails (no joke) which is why I always call wtih issues. You might waste some time on hold but will probably learn something new about how eBay works (also my experience). And if they don't remove it, I wouldn't worry too much about one negative feedback, especially as it's clear to everyone who sees it that the buyer is unreasonable and you did everything right.

Hope this helps.
