Unpaid item case - not from me though!

I sold a horse saddle - easy, straightforward transaction. Lady paid direct to my bank account, I sent the saddle - everyone happy. On Sunday I happened across an email in my Ebay inbox stating an unpaid item case has been opened. Buyer contacted about paying for the 'lights' she bought iff me, suggesting she should pay for the item or have her account barred. This side of Christmas, naturally the buyer is pretty upset. How can I get this case closed???

I'm not sure I understand exactly what has happened - is an unpaid item case open for an item you sold?

If so, and payment was received, you should be able to click the link to view the case details in the resolution centre (there should be notices and links next to the sold item, or under Selling Reminders). You can close the case from there, either due to payment being received, or not (closing a case without payment after a full 4 days has passed will mean the FVF charged is credited back). You can also close and switch it to a mutual cancellation.

If it's something else, a little more information will help know the best advice to give (starting with who sold the item, who bought it, was it paid for, how etc).
