I mentioned this in another post last week and i was shouted down , "no notice" "nothing on the Aussie site about it" " its only on the American eBay site ,not here" ..etc etc etc ,
Well , the thing was, i had a couple of sales that had ticked over past 48 hours with no response from the buyers , next thing i knew , the Eligible for Unpaid Item dispute , notice pops up ,
thats why i mentioned it , well the buyers paid soon after that and there was no other way of checking it out again , I searched all the help pages in all of eBay Australia and all had the 4 day thing , nothing about 2 days , So i just said no more and put it down to a glitch in the system, nothing unusual with eBay!
So tonight i have a few from Sunday night with again, no response and what do you know , Eligible for Unpaid Item dispute , again.
Can any other sellers here confirm they are getting the same?
this must be another "improvement from the powers that be.

Hi Keyrings, not going mad, I noticed the same tonight on my sold items from Sunday. What I have noticed is that the unpaid items are not sent out any emails but they are placed in the resolution Centre even though I give 4 days to pay and its only been 2 days. When I go to see what the resolutions are, there is nothing mentioned. Something not right. ๐

We tried to do one last night ... it was actually a few hours short of the 4 days but the open dispute link was showing.
But it didn't work.
It did tonight (now that it is more than 4 days)

You can only open the case 4 days from the end of this listing. During this time, please communicate with the buyer to try to resolve the problem. ๐

Maybe they are getting ready to introduce it? Wonder if the option to open dispute after 2 days will be only for items that are listed with PP as the only payment option?

I have Paypal and Bank Deposit listed as options and sales on Friday night popped up in the Resolution Centre on Sunday night. Just as well ebay does not take it on themselves to send an unpaid item reminder at that stage (option turned off on my site).
Buyer was intending to pay by bank deposit so no way was I going to hassle them until at least 2 business days had elapsed, when I send a gentle reminder.
