Using MyPost parcel label v eBay's print a label system

Fear I have been a bit slow to realise that:

If I send more than 5 parcels a week over an 8 week, and purchase labels via the MyPost site, I can for example send a parcel between capital cities for $7.30.

The volume qualification bar is probably to high for me, as I only send 10 parcels in a good month, to continue using eBay labels with no possibility of a discount and which I can't use for non-eBay sales seems a bit silly.

Am I missing something?

You get no discount for 500g parcels normal or express.

Ebay Parcels are best for 1kg parcels standard postage. Discounted rate.

Also using BX4 Auspost boxes with eBay labels is the best value for money for 5K or under.

Beware above 2Kgs thats not BX though as eBay rates are actually more expensive than Auspost once you reach a certain cubic size.

Always compare them and you will be right.

I don't understand your question Smiley Happy

If you don't send 5 parcels a week you don't qualify for Aust Post discounted parcels so the question is moot.

If you only send 10 parcels a month - the ebay labels are only $7.55 for 500g and have discounted postage for calculated.   So they are the best.

Sir,

What are these $7.55 ebay labels of which you speak?

Could be the "thing" I am missing?

When I use the eBay label system - the cheapest parcel rate is $8.30.

Thank you, I see more investigations are required upon my behalf.

There is an option to use satchels which will be the $7.55 postage price.

But you have to buy the satchels from Australia Post. They are 15c each in lots of 20 or more.

The postage option you then select (once you have some satchels) is 'eBay 500g satchel'. Which you will be charged $7.55 for at the end of each billing month. So you don't even have to stump the money up up front.
