Hi,
I'm thinking of using an old account I haven't used for quite a few years, it has about 800 feedback I think.
I'm cutting down on Egyptian items and want to put non Egyptian into the other account. I believe payment will be held for 21 days but I'm not sure of any restrictions etc.
It's hard to get Egyptian made now as most is made in China...even if buying from Egypt! Apart from that, the Australian Government won't allow parcels from Egypt to enter Australia by air, it's all getting too hard and too expensive.
Thanks in advance.

If your account is old enough it won't have listing restrictions. I don't think it will help with 21 day limits.
Log in and look at My Selling or Seller Hub.

My other account was opened in 2003 but hasn't been used since 2014...it has 946 feedback.
It says I can have 40 free listings.
I will list a few things and see how it goes.
I will be using the same Paypal account as this account so I'm just hoping they don't freeze payments from purchases on this id for 21 days as well.
Thank you.

Lots of people have different accounts for different products. At one stage I sold three different products and I didn't want my buyers on account A to know what I was selling on account B & C because they would have gone into competition with me. Some people have one account for buying and another for selling.

How/why can you legitimately have 2 eBay accounts? Like what’s the purpose if it’s not for underhanded reasons. Isn’t this how price pushing and shill bidding can happen?
Many have multiple accounts simply to stay organised.
You can have 8 eBay accounts linked to the same PayPal account.
