They may not necessarily have reported it as a fake but deem you as an unauthorised reseller.
If Chanel tell ebay to remove a Chanel listing, ebay need to comply.

Wealth,
Yes, if you list Chanel item, as they are in the Vero program they will order Ebay to remove the listing if they susspect it's a fake.
And kopenhagen - there is no such thing as an authorised Chanel seller! It doesn't exist.
Authorised sellers are those who sell brand new items in accordance with the product's company rules.
When you have a second hand item, weather it's Chanel, or any of the others, you don't need their permission to sell it.
It's yours to do with as you please, it no longer belongs to the company to dictate to anyone what to do with their items.
But, speaking of Chanel, I have rang their Sydney shop to report a most horrible, horrible fake - and they were not interested in the slightest, just didn't care to even get any details. Nor was Ebay, for that matter!

Second hand designer brand name items for resale must be genuine. If it is, a receipt will be held from when it was purchased originally from an authorised seller.

so what is your point?
You are contradicting yourself in the above statement.
Of course no one else is authorised to sell LV, Chanel, etc. they are only sold through their own shops.
That is why I said the authorised sellers of thise sort of goods don't exist.
On Ebay, or anywhere else.
However, that doesn't apply to second hand Chanel, LV or other similar items.
No one has "to be authorised" to sell Chanel or LV stuff, items that are second hand (or even brand new ones for that matter after they bought them or someone else bought them.
And if they are genuine there is never any worry about being removed by Vero owners or Ebay because "one is not authorised" to sell them!

My point is you need a receipt from an authorised seller (the original purchase receipt) if you wish to sell second hand - used or unused - designer brands on eBay. That is the proof required the item is genuine not a copy.
No one said you need permission to sell them from the brand owners.

As a seller of these items on another ID for quite some time now I can assure you that is incorrect.
Most counterfeiters are now faking copies of receipts.
You do need to take close up pics of serial numbers, holograms hardware, stitching & Logo. These pics need to be clear.
The serial number of your bag needs to be in the description.
I also keep an up to date list of counterfeit serial numbers which is available easily on google.
You may need to get your item authenticated by an accepted online authenticator, etinceler.com , authenticate4u.com are ones I use, they are excellent. They are also accepted by ebay.
Chanel and LV are probably the most faked of all bag brands therfore a one off Seller of a Chanel bag may have attracted attention.
Lastly please be absolutely certain of your items authenticity prior to listing, just because someone "gave" it to you and said it was doesnt necessarily make it so.
I really wish people who have no idea and have never sold luxury brand name items would refrain from posting misinformation on these forums.
OP best of luck with your Chanel, I hope you can prove its authenticity & you get great money for it!!

What is incorrect about that?
I was repying specifically to fixn.. who seems to think that anyone can sell a secondhand high end designer item.. without any proof that it is genuine and the buyer should just accept it is genuine because the seller says so.
I have no high end designer gear to sell. I have sold a designer bag ( that I purcahsed & held the original receipt from brand owners store) without any problem.
I don't intend to buy any on eBay either.

Repeating yourself does'nt make your information correct. But hey each to their own.
I tried to give you the benefit of some considerable experience however you seem to know everything after having sold "A" bag.
I'm out.
