Very Slow Australia Post service for past 2 weeks

Hi, I have always posted my items really quickly and items have arrived to my buyers in good time.  However, the last 2 weeks (from one week before Easter to now), the delivery time has been abysmal.  I am in Brisbane so dont know if it is problem from Qld end, or Aust wide.  Just wondering if other sellers are having probs too.

Well, there have been Easter!  PO workers also get public holidays.

Yes, as a buyer I have noticed that a few of my parcels have arrived a bit later than they usually would - mainly those being sent from destination in my own state.

Think its a given around Easter time which also coincides with school holidays in some states (so assuming a few more AP staff and contractors on holidays than usual).  Not as noticeable as around busy Christmas time.

Yes I know there has been public holidays but still doesnt explain why delivery times have taken five days when usually 2 days, a week before Easter?
