little trick i have learn't over my many years selling on here. very short and to the point question to the buyer asking why, a lot of the time they respond with profanity like this one did, demanding i never contact them again but most importantly they stated they rated me on the actual movie - and that little bit was all it took as that is against ebay policy.

best of all was it only took the 1 call.

eBay need to make it clear to buyers that the feedback system isn't for leaving a 'product review'.

Stupid is as stupid does. All the education in the world will not get through to them what the feedback system is actually for

Got that covered - sent them in an esky.

With tracking & two frozen bricks to make sure.

A given the bricks will have melted but with eBay's spot on delivery estimates not too badly.

You do realise that you risk a SNAD and INR for said chocolate frogs don't you? You really should have sent Express with SOD.....at your own expense of course!

How do you know that he's not going to receive the chocolate frogs, then eat them, then say they never arrived, regardless of what the tracking number says? What if he just eats the heads and says they arrived that way? What if he doesn't like the taste of them and then leaves you a neg because you have full control over his taste buds?

You risk so many defects for this one. You really should have thought this through better Helen! ๐Ÿ˜„

Sad, but true. Anyone who pays the slightest bit of attention to the feedback page will see, right next to the stars:

How accurate was the seller's description?

How satisfied were you with the seller's communication?

How quickly did the seller post the item?

How reasonable were the postage and handling charges?

Communication and postage charge questions invite opinion based ratings, and can't result in a defect, which while not wholly ideal, is relatively ok.

The prompts for description and postage time, which can result in a defect, should leave no room for misinterpretation, they are clearly asking for factual responses and indicate very well what they are supposed to be for. People either ignore it, or decide to take their regret and/or ignorance out on the seller when they leave FB.

The fact that many members complain about how eBay word these prompts - IMHO - kinda goes to show just how many people ignore it themselves. :x

I was actually fibbing about already having sent these darn frogs.

Do you think it would be wise for me to ask to have the transaction cancelled on the grounds the 'better' ( I'm the 'bettee' ) changed his mind & was determined to watch his thighs.
