Hi,
I recently started selling stuff on ebay and struggling to handle insertion fee. Because i can list only 40 items without insertion fee. So i have to pay $1.50 for all relisting items. Its a huge cost for a seller who has just started selling. Any successful seller can give me an advice or tips?
I also i would like to increase traffict to my e bay listing? What are the free ways of advertizing within Australia? Any tips & advice?
Thank You,

Why not just do the 40 listings a month and not relist till the next month to save on listing fees?
Do you have facebook? You can put a link in there to your ebay listings.
List for the max of 10 days for more exposure.

Open a store. For $20 month, you get 80 listings = 25cents per listing
And the facebook thingy is a good idea, just don't link it in reverse

I use up the 40 free auction listings and for the few things that don't sell I relist them on another id as BIN with Best Offer, I also have a store so I actually get 280 listings a month for fifty bucks.

If you can sell identical items - this works for me.
I sell Stamp Albums on CD that I have designed myself for a small number of countries. I list these as Buy It Now with Best Offer and Quantity 5 over 10 days.
If I sell one I don't have to re-list the quantity just reduces by 1.
At the end of 10 days I might have sold 2 or 3 identical items to different buyers using just 1 of my 40 free listings.
Usually, during a month I dont need all 40 free listings so this year I am going to have a number of listings in Turbo Lister ready to send to EBay at the end of the month (and hopefully when there are free listings for a limited time eg 100 free listings for next 3 days). Been missing out on these lately as I have not been prepared.
Works for me!
