Weird fake bid's (zero feedback)on fee due .....

I have notice that last few months that when fee are due there seems to alot of fake bid's....

Meaning buyer's joining on or few days before fee's are due .....

They always seeem to bid on item's with high price......

Yes I do place a case of non payment ...

Yet you still need to pay the final seller fee on that item ...(even tho knowning it's a fake bid )

Is it just me or other seller's noticing it also ........???

What can be done about it ....

Without stopping new buyer's from using e-bay .....

You don't pay FVF on a sale that you have opened and closed a UPI on.

That is the whole point of it.

You do pay if the case hasn't been/can't be closed when the invoice is calculated. You get a credit next month.

No, blackeye, I haven't noticed this, but I get very few NPBs.

The difference is that you may have to pay now and get your refund a month later. For something you didn't get paid for.

No skin off my nose, but a lot of sellers (especially if it happens often) may have cashflow problems.

In terms of what can be done about it....

If you go Site Preferences, then click on Buyer Requirements, there is an option to block bidders who have feedback scores of 5 or less and have not gone through phone verification.
