What am I responsible for in this?

Posted an item to the buyers paypal address, buyer then contacted me saying the address is his old one, track the item on AP website and shows that the item was tried to be delivered to the address but was then returned to sender. I still haven't heard back from AP but I'm wondering what my obligation to the buyer is?

Any help would be appreciated.

I've received several no less than 2 months later, and I have to say each of them looked liked they had been around Australia state by state, roughly handled at each stop, and then sent back around for another go, looking totally "ravaged" which is fortunately unlike any other AP parcels I receive ?:|

Yeah, I received one parcel that was sent in a bubble mailer and it looked pretty bad. It had me questioning whether that's what all my packaging looks like when it's sent. However, I think that package wear in this situation is kind of understandable. Some items sit for weeks at the post office without a pickup; squashed with all the other items... there's only so much room. It's natural that they'd get a bit of wear to the packaging during that time.

In the post above, I meant that AP sent back one of my parcels after it'd been stored for a while without pickup and the outside was a little worn. Again, it's kind of understandable... and probably just because it'd been on the shelf for a few weeks.
