What happened to the buyers today???

Today has been the strangest online trading day ever for us.

Not a single order throughout the day on any of our ebay IDs. Never happened before.

Traffic levels down 80% on our website. And not one order.

No orders or favourites on our etsy store. Normally we get at least one order and lots of favourites during a day.

This is very odd behaviour on multiple selling venues.

Anyone else experiencing anything like this today?

My website is fine and busy, selling plenty, had a good year.

eBay is absolutely dead, normally I would make 10-15 sales a day.

Saturday - a couple of sales, yesterday on eBay 2 sales for small amounts, today so far, not a thing..

The last month has been the worst I have ever experienced on eBay.

I don't think it is just me, read the USA and UK boards, you will see HUNDREDS of sellers complaining about the same topic.

I have just about given up with eBay, think I will just soon have the 500 free listings one gets with the $49.95 store subscription and leave it at that...

Not worth paying anything extra for listing fees at present.

Mind you, early November (from past experience) can be a very slow time.

eBay needs an advertising campaign - NOW!!

People are looking but not watching and certainly not buying.  Last month was the worst ever.

I just hope it picks up.

maybe everyone is getting ready  well here anyway for the melbourne cup,, streets are dead today , no traffic long weekend here ,some schools closed ,some factories closed,

Its really odd.... must be full moon.

Not a sausage anywhere all day.... then after 3pm... kaching everywhere.
