It got the better of me so I googled the image. Yes, they are real, BUT, they don't grow that way.
They use a plastic mold, which gets clamped onto the fruit while it's still small enough to fit. When the fruit has filled the mold it is removed and the fruit continues to grow in the shape of the mold.
Sadly though, like the rainbow roses, buyers will assume they grow that way.
Apparently in China you can get heart shaped cucumbers, square watermelons and a whole assortment of different shaped foods from using molds.
