Im interested in an item .<REMOVED>. When you read the details it says he can do them for $117 free post but you have to ask him. When I asked him, he said he couldnt do free post but when i pointed out this in the listing
..REMINDER: THIS LISTING DOES NOT INCLUDE FREE POST, IF YOU WANT FREE POSTAGE, THEN DON'T BID ON THIS LISTING AS I WILL CREATE ANOTHER LISTING FOR YOU ON EBAY FOR $117 IN TOTAL WITH YOUR FREE POST.
He then told me
Hi Mate, Yes I make dummy listing on eBay Singapore. If u want that I will make a listing for u tomorrow.

There is a reason for listing your purchase on ebay Singapore-can't remember what it is but that is how I used to buy my satchels when I was selling ie my seller did exactly what the one you've asked about is doing.

Sounds a bit dodgy. Are they trying to avoid eBay fees somehow?
If they can offer free shipping, why don't they put it on all their listings.

Found something on the net about this (Australians listing on eBay Singapore). Sellers require payment by bank deposit (no paypal fees) and there are very low or no listing fees, FVF on eBay Singapore.

This is the bit ion the listing that gets up my goat.
I can not be held responsible for lost of stolen item if you don't select register post.
Duhh of course the seller is responsible until the item is delivered to the buyer.

Yes, so many sellers still add same or similar to their listings, even though it contravenes policy.

'My' seller offered both Paypal and bank deposit.
Thanks for clarifying re why some aussie sellers list on ebay Singapore-I thought it was something to do with fees but wasn't sure.
The seller isn't dodgy, they've just found a workaround so they can save money.
