If you are going to advertise the fact that items are tracked then at least have something that works most of the time....Especially with all the new scanners you bought. Do you guys need some help in the IT department or something.

It's probably not the equipment, but rather the ineptitude of the people using it.

I really don't think Aust Post care.
l sent an express post parcel yesterday, with sign on delivery. Was sending it to my son so signed both his email addy and mine up to the tracking advice.
Got an email mid morning - item has been delivered. So l texted my son to say 'You have your parcel!!' to which he replied that he didn't.
l told him to wait a few seconds incase the truck was just pulling up - no truck.
After 15 odd minutes of him standing at his front door waiting, l told him to go out onto the street and see if he could see the Post truck.
He found his parcel sitting ontop of his mail box, in the rain. No sig was ever taken, no knock at the door.
Just dropped ontop of the mail box in full street view.
Shocking Aust Post delivery behaviour.

I hope you report it and demand a copy of the signature.

I have just had a parcel go missing with click & send postage, after Aus Post enquiry their reply was that the parcel must have been delivered but not scanned at the time as they can't find it,they said to tell my customer to look in the meter box, behind a pot plant or maybe under a carport that it has to be there...are they kidding? They kindly offered to refund the postage costs if i send them a receipt...derrrrrrrr it was paid on line so they would have details of payment...appalling behavior..i am flabergastered!!!!

Yes, l rang and complained. l were livid!
The Aust Post rep said they will refund me the sig on delivery cost and that makes it all better. Son got his parcel so just what is the issue?
My bad. l thought l paid for a service to ensure that my son would be handed his parcel and not have it left in the rain ontop of the mail box where anyone could pick it up.
