I had a query yesterday from a buyer who thought she may have inadvertently given me one star rather than the five she intended. She asked me to check if that were so, and how could she correct it if it was.
Whilst I could see that she’d given me a positive rating and overall said nice things, I couldn’t see the individual star ratings.
Would that be correct? And could she have amended them if she wanted?
Or do I assume that as there was no ‘defect’ that she must be mistaken and had given 5 stars?

They can't be altered. I had someone say the same thing recently but I told her not to worry because mistakes happen and at least she let me know and apologised.
Your item description star is showing a tiny grey tip and is 4.9 so perhaps that's where she left you a 1. You used to be able to download reports and figure out who left a low score but I'm pretty sure you can't now.
There's nothing you can do about it so there's no point wasting time thinking about it. Just keep on doing the best you can.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean a defect.

No doubt you will get many more incorrect star ratings. I have given up on this. Going back to when we could see who left bad ratings, I got a bad rating for postage time, even though the item was posted within the hour, because the person lived the other side of the country and probably expected me to fly in my private jet to hand deliver it within the hour. I got another bad rating for communication, when there was none. Another bad rating for only charging actual postage, and paying for the box and all the wrapping myself as apparently I must own Australia Post and they didn't like the postage cost. I used to personally thank each person who bought from me, until I found out that then they can give you a bad rating for communication once you have spoken to them. Ebay doesn't explain to customers what they are actually rating, so if they don't like the postage cost, or the time Australia post takes to deliver, or if the package isn't perfect (which never is even straight from the factory in some people's eyes) Any minescule dot or crease is marked down, as "not as described" The star rating system is nothing short of ridiculous.
