Where has the old option "FREIGHT" gone in the postage section ??

I'm not sure whether it correctly but I'm unable to locate the "freight" option in postage costs.

Has anyone had trouble with giving a shipping quote?

The eBay shipping calculator doesn't seem to take into account that an item may have to be shipped to the other side of the country.

It give you a range of say between $8.00 and $24.00 but only displays the lessor amount.

I'd be annoyed if I bid on an item which was showing $8.00 postage, only to find the actual cost is $24.00.

Can anyone assist me please ?

I'm not sure about the Freight option, I still have it showing in the dropdown menu, but in regards to calculated postage, the rate displayed to others is based on the postcode of their primary shipping address. You would see the lowest price as presumably it would be between the same PC or not too far apart, but those in other states will see the higher rates.

eBay recently introduced a new way to specify variable postage costs (rate tables), might be worth a look to see if it's suitable: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/pay/shipping-costs.html#tables

If you want to test it out and you're not seeing it in your listing options, click the "Add or remove options" link in the postage details section and make sure the Rate Tables option is ticked.
