Hi,
I am thinking of putting a study/bunk bed for sale soon. As I do not have anyone who can help me to dismantle the bed I will be putting this item as buyer will need to dismantle it. The bed is in extremely good condition. It took 2 people to put the bed together. I have the manual as well a whole new set of screws for it.
I will be posting on my ad if any prospective buyers wishes to inspect it before they bid/buy they are quite welcome to do so.
If in the process of dismantling the bed anything goes wrong who is responsible? Hope someone can tell me whether this would be the right way to go about it.
Thanks.

In this instance, I would decline any requests to help dismantle the bed, which will be the full responsibility of the buyer once they have purchased it, and any damage caused by them after purchase is likewise their responsibility.
I would probably put a note to that effect on the listing (worded a little differently but saying the same thing), just so any prospective buyers have a full understanding of the situation.

Agree with DG, make it very clear that it must be dismantled and removed by the buyer and they will probably have to bring somebody to help them as you are unable to assist. Also make sure you get the payment before they start as it is theirs after that and any damage that occurs is down t them.

Make sure you get their money before they dismantle it as well.
Do not want them to damage it then give you less due the damage they did.
