Why are some of my gallery photos not showing in my listings?

I suddenly have 4 or 5 of my listings where the gallery photo is no longer showing on my site. Why is this?

This has been a problem for some time now. The photos are showing in the listings but not on our selling site.

I have been intermittently ringing Ebay for YEARS about this problem 😞

Yep, very annoying and happens with monotonous regularity !

I've found if you revise the listing (but actually do nothing !) it will sometimes magically reappear.  If that fails, then I delete the photo & upload again - such a waste of time, but I hate gallery photos not showing . . . . . . .

I'm wondering if this just an eBay issue.  I logged into a  completely different site today, and their gallery photos weren't showing either.

I can't upload again, as I delete as I go 😞  
I can guarantee that if I let the item sit in 'unsold' for a while, then re-list, the photo magically appears....I think there's some 'purpose' to it
