Why can I not leave negative feed back to a buyer.

I have sold an item but the buyer has not bothered to contact .I contacted the buyer and they said they would come and pick up the item but no show. I have since relisted the item and blocked this buyer but I am unable to give negative feed back to warn others .

Sellers have not been able to leave buyers anything other than positive feedback for quite a number of years now.

I know, it's total BS. I have left NEG feedback in the positive feedback section as I was so peeved that I couldnt leave negitive. Doesnt have the same impact though! Sellers should be allowed to leave neg feedback as there are so many rotten tyre kicking buyers out there and they get away with it over and over again. There should be more to just blocking them.

I hope U opened a dispute & closed it before re-listing the item, otherwise the buyer could turn up & claim the item.

You don't just block them. Go through the non payment dispute process if they don't pay after 4 days your final valuation fees are returned and the buyer gets a strike against their ID, the more sellers that go through the process and issue strikes the harder it will be for these non payers to continue buying as it will impact their ID.  Oh and make sure you have your block preferences to include 2 non payment strikes in 6 months this will stop a lot of the offenders.

didnt you know you were supposed to open a non paying dispute and they  will get a strike
