I have a buyer who left positive feedback - 'excellent quality and fast delivery' and now a week later they have opened a did not receive item dispute. I wonder how this can even be possible in the system. But once again funds are frozen and I can't get sense from the buyer... Item sent economy airmail with no tracking....

At least ring ebay and ask to talk to someone about it. Hopefully they will see some sense.
I would have thought that the system could block an item not received claim if someone had already filled in positive feedback, but I suppose some buyers might complain they had not actually received it or else made a mistake & gave it to the wrong seller.
But those issues should be checked out carefully by an ebay rep as the feedback definitely suggests they did receive it.
If there is no other recent purchase awaiting feedback then the rep could be pretty certain there was no mix up.

this happened to me a couple of years ago - ring ebay or have them ring you.....advise them to look at your f/b and they should be able to fix it at their end

It will depend on the call centre person if calling will work, sometimes they will accept feedback as proof of delivery, sometimes they won't as the buyer can say they left the feedback by mistake for someone else, something that does happen.

l have accidentally in the past left positive feedback, for an item l had not received, being in a hurry to get the chore done, and then l did not get the item...
