Why is my item not showing up in the search results when my friend try to find it?

I've listed my item for 3 times and didn't get many viewers, so I asked my friend to search for it and tried different filters. My item didn't come up in the first 3 pages no matter how I filter it. For example, if I filter by price - lowest first, items that are more expensive came up and still haven't seen my item...

How can I get my item to have more visibility?

i see it half way down the first page when I do a specific search

Perhaps put the colour and Size in the Title. Also BNWT rather than never worn.

Also put the Bust, Waist, Hip  & Length  Measurements in the Description. ' Will fit a size 12 - 14 ' really doesn't mean anything.

I don't know whether St Tropez is a well known Brand but when I searched  - yours was the only one - so I wouldn't think people would be filtering by that Brand.

Also - as it's pick up only you have reduced your customer base to a 50km radius - so people would just hit the back button when they realise you don't post. - Might be worth finding out how much it would cost to post as you would reach a larger customer base.

I don't expect you will get a lot of interest, you are only selling locally with pick up, you would probably do a lot better if you find out how much it would be to post. You give very little description and no measurements at all. You don't have the size or the colour in the title. Do you mean a dust proof cover, dust prove doesn't make sense. You are wanting pick up but have only selected Paypal as a payment method, most buyers, and certainly sellers, want cash on pick up as there is no buyer or seller protection for pick up items. ~There are thousands of wedding dresses for sale on ebay so you need to have an exceptional listing to get buyers to look at yours.
