Over the last 9 months I've been gaining quite a bit of weight (which is a good thing, I've always been very underweight.......I love you menopause!). The gaining weight has been a good thing, but the bad thing is, I've had to buy new clothes....multiple times (I hate buying clothes). I've gone up quite a few bra sizes too. I've got some really nice, comfortable (not padded) bras from both Big W and K-Mart (in-store), in both underwire and without. I now have all these really lovely bras that I bought that no longer fit!
Updating the wardrobe wasn't as stressful, I managed to keep squeezing into my size 8's until I realised that I really now need size 12 in a lot of things. The bras, I've got nearly every size from 12C to 16DD (I went up to the 16 as I couldn't find a 14E that I liked and was comfortable). I was actually surprised at the range K-Mart had. They seemed to have more selection that (my local) Big W.
I'm not sure I'd personally buy bras online unless I knew the brand and had bought them before. I have to wear the soft cups as those molded things don't fit me real well at all. I only found that out by trying a few different ones on.
