being abused by members over an auction price

What can I do about a member that has abused me by message over the price if an auction item I have for sale?

I could understand if I had the item as a buy it now, but I don't.

Do I report the person or not?

you could report them, but seriously, unless they do it again, I'd just have a little chuckle to myself, then wonder what event in their life has made them so bitter and then begrateful that my life was good.

It's not nice that they did it to you, but it was probably just a vent at the world in general, not something personal.

My advice is to add the ID to your block bidders list, report the message if it is abusive and don't respond to their messages at all.

I once worked for an antiques dealer whose maxim was that something is worth what someone will pay for it, end of story.

I also remember when my blessings-from-Heaven were small and I would have paid (almost) anything for whatever digimon/pokemon/beyblade thingy they were collecting just to see the smiles of gratitude on their sweet little faces!! Now I get abused for "only ever buying us **bleep**", because I won't buy the latest IPhone to lose on the train. Maybe there's a lesson in there somewhere.....

Block this person. If they bid and won imagine the stress you will have thinking they will leave you negative feedback 'just because' !!!
