i have created my listings within Auctiva for many years the same way everytime, but Ebay changed there settings on photo editing 3 - 4 days ago.I am not a good photographer so if a picture was to light or to dark i was able to use ebay editing tool to correct this problem the the photo would then look exactly like the garment. But Ebay have changed this & will not allow this now calling it a third party .So hence if i cant get my photo to look exactly like the garment it wont sell if the pictures are to dark so i lose money & so will they.I pay my store fee of $54.95 monthly & now i am prevented this simple editing tool !!!! Is this monopolisation or what trying to force me to do my listings within Ebay.screenshot included whereas you can see the asterisk is now not hightlighted to use it.This was changed by Ebay 4 days ago but nobody was told & was not mentioned on any notice board or in the changes to store subscriptions

It is much easier, quicker and more efficient to edit your photos before you upload them to Auctiva or anywhere else. Most cameras come with free photo editing software, windows provide editing options or there are loads of free programs if you google for them. I too upload my pics to an online storage site but they are all exactly as I want them before they go there. I first import them to my computer then edit them, that way I can use that one for the ebay pics and after uploading them can use those in the body of the listing. That way if there is a site outage either with ebay pics or my hosting site buyers can still see a photo.

Thanks for your imput Jukie 🙂 i do edit with windows before i upload them but sometimes some look really dark especially in the background once they reach ebay and that handy little edit tool that was in ebay to fix that Ebay decided on Monday that if the listing wasnt created with Ebay then you not allowed to brighten your photo.Just seems pretty petty to me and a way to maybe make you you change tocreating listings with Ebay/Seven years i have been doing it this way .I pay for store subscrition and the tools are there for us but they take away 1 tool that they know i use everyday ,just find it kinda pathetic
