Hi all...
Someone bought not one, but two foxtel remotes from me...
on the 5th december, Less than a day after they received them, They initiated a refund request and listing the reason as faulty...
The refund request stated "Please take action by 10 Dec"... I did by replying immediately to the buyer.. I sent them a message asking what was wrong with them as I couldn't understand why both would be faulty. I sell a lot of foxtel remotes and have never had a problem with them..
I received no reply from the buyer so, after 4 days waiting i sent them another message going into further detail suggesting they check the troubleshooting page on the foxtel website...
I have still not received a reply...
So what am I supposed to do now? what happens when they don't communicate..how long will this request remain open..
Even though I don't believe the items are faulty, I am agreeable to refund them for BOTH remotes, but I don't see why I should have to pay for the return postage if they have just changed their mind...
any help would be appreciated...
Cheers

oh tippy beallieblue is correct,, why would you buy one , if its broken you ring up foxtel and they will send you one, its not like sony or anything else you dont own the foxtel box you dont own the remote, when you finsh with your contract and dont want to renew it is gets sent back , so its not yours to own. they send you out a prepaid carton, mind you if its that oil they wont worry about it .
its like microsoft windows , you dont own it to sell, it always belongs to microsoft,
and rich peoples tv please how many people have foxtel , maybe someone will know 100s of thousands,

Yes I am the lady of the household, but guess what, the remote is never near my fingers. I know what you mean though, our friends wives have their remotes. Telly doesn't worry me, would rather have my nose in a book. Just wanted to ask couple questions if you did work for foxtel, but thats okay. Hope your suituation comes good, without any bother.

Exactly, it's none of my business. Same is it's none of your business whether the OP works for Foxtel or not, or why she chose to sell a remote. If you want to ask something about Foxtel, ring them up.

Anyone who thinks you just ring up Foxtel and ask for a new remote for free has never rung Foxtel and asked for a new remote for free
