I don't think that you can send an invoice for an item that is technically now not sold.
Have you let your buyer know what you have done? ie the refund? Have you instructed them that they will need to repurchase the item once they are satisfied that their details are correct and updated?
I wouldn't send an invoice for anything until day 2 or 3 anyway unless you need to combine postage/adjust postage price, as most people remember that they just bought something. An invoice is really just a subtle way to say to someone "oi! would ya mind paying for this item before I open up an UID on day 4 and make you really cross at me?"

One of thae advantages of being at the computer when something is paid for so you can go straight to click & send and process the label then if they contact you after that you can say so sorry but it has already been processed the tracking number is: XXXXXXXX

Do not bother with the shifty buyers.Block the sale by putting them on the restriction list. Do not trust these buyers who should know the rules.
@iamanark wrote:Ask them to update the address and then you can send the items ... do not send until they do so, as you will not be covered by Paypal ... you could end up losing the item and your money !

Sheesh.
I would hope they've worked out the problem in the nearly SIX YEARS since the problem arose.
