buyer wont pay or contact!

hi everyone, as i am new to ebay i need to learn how things work.

a buyer ended up with my item after the auction ended but never got back to me. now im still left with my item that i wanted to sell. i have opened a case but what does that do? also ebay is still billing me for the sale! like as if i got paid!

what do i have to do? please help.

Once you've opened the UID, give it 4 days then close it.

You will be refunded the FVF and the buyer will be given a strike.

..and go to your Account Tab and set your buyer preferences to block all bidders/buyers who already have strikes from not paying other sellers.

at the bottom of every eBay page is a Site Map, use it to read up on how ebay works before you try selling or buying -- its a great place to learn exactly what you should / need to do

Sometimes peoples systems crash and especially in rural situations just can't access the internet. This happened to me for one month and even though I internet cafed once a week to get my sales off I got hammered in the postage ratings for that month.

Maybe your buyer has no access to the internet atm, open a dispute anyway to guard yourself.
