Unless the comments are in breach of ebays feedback policies it is almost immpossible to have comments removed. Ebays CS staff give the standard answer that the buyer is just expressing their opinion of the transaction.
What you can do is go to "respond to feedback left" ( search it in the help and contacts search bar ) and respond in a factual polite way. No name calling, no semantics as this just makes you look bad and exacerbates the problem.
EDIT - I see you have already done that. I think you would have bucklies hope of getting that feedback removed. ( unless you where a large Chinese seller or Australian big box store )

Just out of interest .... The buyer left the negative comments with a positive feedback, green dot. THIS MAY breech ebay policy. Certianly if a seller leaves a buyer a green dot with negative comments ebay will remove the offending post. I,m not sure how it works when the boot is on the other foot, but it would certianly be worth a try.
On the few occasions I have recieved negative comments on a green dot, I dont do anything. I figure that by day four they are going to have slipped so far down the feedback list no-one will ever see them again, lost in a sea of green dots. By responding, you have highlighted that post and made it stand out from the others.

My thoughts exactly chameleon....the OP has made the comment stand out like a sore thumb by leaving a followup comment.
BTW, ebay will not remove or otherwise interfer with a positive feedback green dot. But they would probably remove a red dot with a positive comment as the buyer's intention was clear....according to ebay.

It's possible if you can prove beyond question that the statement is untrue, though as above I'm not sure if they would when the FB is positive.
eg I had someone leave me a negative saying they didn't get their item and I didn't refund. I phoned eBay, they took one look at the transaction (which clearly showed a refund was issued) and removed the feedback on the spot.
In situations where it's your word against the buyer's, it's infinitely more difficult, unfortunately.

Have you checked their feedback given to others?
When someone leaves false feedback on the chance that they may get a refund then they may have done
it before,(if so and there is a pattern then eBay may remove it).
