can you change mutual cancelation to non payer case instead.

any one know if this is possible?

the story is i have several boxes of horror dvds which always sell well. i list one to sell, then as they sell change photos and list again.

first sold very quick on monday did not hear from buyer till friday - who's "daughter bought it by mistake" can she cancel.

sent her a nice message then a mutual cancelation thingy. thinking i could relist for the best selling time, the weekend. and then nothing.

No, you cannot, but as long as they do not hit "not agree" there is still chance they will do it.  maybe they went away for the weekend or something.

No you cannot which is why I never offer mutual cancellation for change of mind especially with such a lame excuse as their's.

OK so you may have to wait 8 days before you can relist but if, as your buyer has done, they ignore your request you still have to wait 7 days until you can close the dispute and list again anyway.

For the sake of what may be just one extra day the numpty buyer also gets away without the strike they should get and can, if they want to be really nasty, leave you a neg.

Unfortunately not gav. I have the reverse situation. I open an unpaid item case when buyers do not respond to payment reminders and then change it to a cancellation request when they tell me they no longer want the item.

There is usually no thank you, and they don't bother to agree to the cancellation request either. As a result you end up having to pay the FVF.

I think I will be following phorum junkie's process in future. Sadly there are some buyers that do not consider while they put items on "hold" just in case they want them, it costs sellers money, time and lost sales.

i sent her a message this morning that since she did not want to cancel she must want to buy them. i also resent the invoice and within 20 minutes she had cancelled.

the problem is she could leave me feedback.......................
