Can anyone please help me with CLICK AND SEND. Its driving me nuts and I have itemes processed i need to post off. I paid for the postage and then my printer  died and needed replacing. A few days later i finally got a new one, went to print the labels and it said outof date can't print.

So i went to my click and send emails to reprint and when it opens up  the website i get "validation error, URL error" i have paid postage for these already and now can't print up my labels.

I have tried 4 differant computers, 2 ipads and my phone and still no success.

HELP!!!

click and send error to reprint labels.

Unfortunately the option to reprint the label only remains valid for 24 hours, after that, the option is gone, so that's why you're now getting the error.

I'm not sure if there's any way for you to be able to acess the original labels and print them (eg by phoning Aus Post to see if they can assist). In most cases they usually suggest to purchase new labels, and cancel the old ones (which I find takes an average of two weeks, to get the refund, I mean).

I know this won't help now, but it might help in the future - every time I generate postage labels online, I save a copy of the PDF (I change the file name to the date the labels were generated, plus some other identifying info, so I can quickly locate it in my folder), it's mostly so I have a copy if I need if for proof of post, but it's saved me a few times from having to buy new labels when something's gone wrong and I couldn't print from the original PDF that's generated.

click and send error to reprint labels.

Do this tomorow:

For registered users

If you have simply entered the items and not yet commenced processing, Click and Send will store the information in the 'item summary' screen until you are ready to commence processing.

If you have processed your item through to the 'print labels' screen it is best to print your labels when they appear. If you navigate away from the printing screen, you will only be able to access your labels for a 24-hour period as follows:

  • via your transaction summary which is automatically emailed to you
  • via your shopping cart item summary

After 24 hours, you can contact the Click and Send support team to request a copy of the shipping label be emailed to your address.

This is just the thing to do.

Click and Send CS staff are really helpful and should be able to send you a pdf of your labels via email.

So frustrating, why do they only have them available for 24hrs. I'll save the pdf in the future.

Thank you all so much for the replies!! so frustrating!

Here's what I do and it should work nicely for you:

When it comes ime to print your labels don't use the browser's built in pdf viewer.

When the print dialogue comes up choose cancel then from top right of the viewer window choose open in another viewer.

You should get another pop up from which you should select Adobe Acrobat.

Your pdf will then be saved to your selected download folder and, when complete, open in the desktop Acrobat.

The point here is that you now have your file saved to your hard drive so if anything goes wrong it can be printed again later.
