confused about best option for postage to u.k.

I have read several posts on the boards trying to work out which is the safest method to send 750 parcel to the United Kingdom and still unsure

1.   registered post

2.   pack and track

the parcel costs the same, so which is the best for paypal protection for the seller?

any advice would be appreciated.

Hi

Reg Post International is the best we have found. With Pack and Track the post office does not issue you with a copy of the paperwork that shows the name and address of recipient and also your name and address. With track and Pack you only have a recepit with a tracking number. Reg Post international you actually get a copy of the paperwork from Australia Post (senders copy) This has their name and address, your name and address and post office date stamp which you will need to prove postage should a paypal claim arise.

Pack and Track is easier to track as it shows on Australia Post website where Reg Post International does not but you can usually track them on overseas websites for some countries.

Of course it is a personal choice but we have found Reg post much safer in case of paypal issues.

I posted a $200 via Registered Post International 3 weeks ago, it has not arrived, and is currently not traceable through any of the tracking websites. I don't know if there is any method that is 100% safe.

  Sorry - I meant click and send pack and international - you do have a copy of the paperwork stamped and signed by the PO

Hi Have never used click and send for overseas only Pack and Track but stopped using it because no copy of the paperwork. Did not know that you could send overseas with click and send but if you can and you get paperwork that may be the best option - you have proof of who and where you posted parcel too and you have tracking too that would be a bonus.
