rant:

even after requesting a call back i'm still placed on hold. WTH, why ring me back if there is no operator. seriously this sucks. 2 hours on hold this morning now on hold again.

Why put yourself through it Harley?  You know it's a waste of time.  Let's know if your problem is resolved after CONTACT.

Just helping you fill in time Smiley Frustrated . . . .  I copped the same carp the other day & then after getting through to an agent who was as useless as you know what on a bull & couldn't help, said he'd transfer me to another department - of course - he couldn't blurdy transfer me could he - so had to then wait for another call back !!!!!!!!  And I'm still waiting

I'm actually trying to escalate an item not as described. There is no link to escalate it (get ebay to step in) anymore and the seller won't provide a return label so I can send it back.

 

This is what it tells you to do however that doesn't even exist

all I have to click on in my ebay is a big blue link saying View Return details. when I click on that this is all I have on the next screen.

Is it because you can't do anything until the 7th day?   see other thread about returns

 

RETURN POSTAGE DEADLINE

So the seller has 6 days from approving return request to supply return shipping label or alternative method for buyer to return item. 


If the seller has not done so - on the 7th day, the buyer can get ebay to step in and request return shipping from him again  - this time with a strict deadline. If seller does not comply, Ebay return the buyers $$$ without having to return item.

Thanks. Once again ebay doesn't tell you anywhere in the process of this that the seller has 6 days it just tell you you have to return the item by such and such a date.

now I get a email reminder to send the item back by the 22nd, again nothing about the 6 day wait to be able to escalate or ask ebay to step in.

 

You started a return on 13 Jun, 2015, for xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you haven't sent the item yet, send it back so you can receive your refund. If you don't post by 22 Jun, 2015, you may not receive a refund. Please upload tracking information to eBay as soon as you can.
