delay in being paid for item sold

I sold an coin album to a customer specifying it was for pickup only.  He didnt notice that  and purchaed item.  In the end I send it to him post free to Darwin NT.  He paid quickly but my pay, ment from Ebay is being constantly held up.   I have  updated my account as requested by ebay three times.  No sign of my money ...had a bad experience in the past where I was charged a $66 selling fee for a sale that did not go through.  Will have to forget it and put it down to experience.  alakas-0

How long ago was the sale? Has you account update been acknowledged as successful? Given you have had 3 tries at it.

You seem to have sold 2 items in the last 6 months. That will flag you as a new/intermittent seller, and your money could be held for up to 30 days.

You are considered a new seller, and as such your funds will be on hold for up to 30days.

If you'd read the managed payments terms, you would have realised that for intermittent sellers, there can be a delay of several weeks.

When you say you've "updated" your account - are you fully ID verified via passport or drivers license? Have you verified your bank details? Once you are verified, you shouldn't be needing to do anything repeatedly - you just have to wait for the money.

I do hope that you sent with tracking and uploaded it into the transaction as that can shorten the wait time.
