so someone has asked will I accept direct deposit. They have zero feedback. Is this a concern giving out bank account numbers?

I wouldn't necessarily get suspicious because of this. Some buyers don't have much idea how ebay works. I've lost count of the number of people who ask me for an invoice when they haven't actually bought the items. I know someone personally who thinks my shop is my own site (website) and I've had others refer to it that way as well.

Next time you ask a question it might be a good idea to give all the relavent information from the beginning. With the above information I would definitely not be giving out any personal details.
I would say the same as Tippy.....don't give them any details and just tell them you cannot end the listing as there are bids on it
