dollar sign changed to hour glass?

Sold an item 28th oct now I have noticed in my ebay there is now an hour glass saying payment initiated on the 28th oct checked paypal and funds were deposited in my account on 28th oct any ideas whats going on?.

It sounds like you have been paid by echeque through Paypal

You should have an email to say you received this. If that is the case you won't have the money until the echeque clears.

Payment was nearly 2 months ago so if OP has received cleared payment then it must be a glich as it shouldn't take that long for an e-cheque to clear.

The OP has said the funds were deposited to their account.

OP why are you worrying about 2 month old transactions ?? you have been paid, I assume you sent the item, transaction finished.

I'm hoping a glitch, funds were cleared in my paypal account same day so I took that as cleared payment so I posted item, as you already said this was nearly 2 months ago. I don't sell much mainly a buyer so was just a little concerned, you hear stories of chargebacks and paypal refunding buyers for whatever reason. so just making sure I am not getting stung somewhere along the line.

Stop worrying, It's christmas.

You can start to panic when/if you receive a chargeback notice from paypal.
