Hi,
I am wondering if there is a workaround. The difference in categories between various "ebays" is simply stupid and leads to the loss of sales. All of my customers for pricier goods are from the USA.
For example, I have a light source "lumencor" listed on eBay AU: eBay item number: 186627332062
If you search for this on eBay.com (not .com.au), my listing will not show up. The default category for this keyword is "business & Industrial", to my knowledge, a category that does not exist on eBay Australia: https://www.ebay.com/sch/12576/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=lumencor&_oac=1
You will have to navigate to top left and click on either "all" or "Healthcare, Lab & Dental".
This makes no sense, nobody does that. I will reiterate, that people who know this quirk do that to find deals.
Is there a way for my items to show up under this category?

ebay.com.au/bBusiness-Industrial/bn_7117562161
Now try removing the ".au".

Finally someone gets it. I hope there is a workaround.
I sell this type of instrument to Australian locals maybe 3 times a year at most.

Also, shipping would cost at least $100 on my end, insured for $1500. The thing weighs around 5kg.
I am still not sure what this has to do with my question though.

It has to do with your chances of getting INRs.
The handling time eBay uses is the one specified in the listing, not what you put in the description.
