eBay % off deals

Hi all,

Does anyone know how you can find the eBay deal offers that you get? When I signed in earlier it had an offer of 10 or 20% off, as I was at work I just closed it. Is there a place that you can go back for current offers you have been given?

Usually if you mouse-over the My eBay link at the top, the coupon will be listed there at the end (I haven't had one for a while, but apparently it doesn't show if you mouse-over while logged into the forums, so make sure you're on a proper eBay page to check if it's there). 

Sometimes they're global promotions (i.e. available to everyone) that they advertise when you sign in to eBay (eg the other week I signed in and before I was taken to My eBay, there was an ad for 20% off at Target). If it was one of those kind of deals, you can usually find it being promoted in other areas of eBay, either on the home page, or on the 'eBay Deals' page.

Digi, I have given advice several times today on where to find the discount vouchers and the answers are starting to filter back that they are not there.

Do you have any other ideas?

Hi Dig, thanks for the reply! I tried that, and unfortunately does not work. I do believe that is how I accessed them in the past though, in fact they were really annoying as they kept reminding me all the time. Perhaps it was similar to the Christmas or New Year offer and was ended already?

Yes, I only saw it once during the sign in process, and now cannot find it again. Just seen on the buying board that others are finding it difficult to find again, perhaps eBay have cancelled it again. Really could have used it this time!!!

The only thing I can think of to suggest - aside from someone taking a more thorough approach than I did (see below) - is if anyone clicked on the T&Cs for the latest promo, to go to their browser history and find the page again that way, as they usually show the promo code on the T&Cs page. I wouldn't proceed with a transaction unless the discount was being calculated and displayed during checkout (before purchase confirmation) though, as it may have been withdrawn for one reason or another.

I had a (very quick) look to see if I could google a T&Cs page for any recent promos but the latest one on the results was from December - a deeper google might find it.

Oh... and if it pops up during sign in, maybe sign out, clear cookies and cache, restart browser and sign in again. Could work.
