eBay's New Tracking Requirements will terminate the sale under $100 and ship stand international airmail.
In eBay's latest announcements they state that in order to retain top rated seller status, sellers have to include a tracking number with 90 percent of our sales.
Starting with the July 20 evaluation cycle, to achieve and keep your Top-rated seller status, tracking information or a Delivery Confirmation number must be uploaded to eBay on at least 90% of your transactions to US buyers within your stated handling time.
This seems unfair to those of seller who sell items usually valued at under $100 and ship standard international mail, a trackingable service is charged over $25 dollars at Australia post.
The tracking number upload requirement policies will soon terminate the sale which under $100 and ship stand international airmail.
Ebay should not require tracking information upload for stand international mail but register international mail.

I don't sell OS, all my sales are under $100 and I'm not a TRS, so it won't affect me at all.

It is an ebay US requirement and announcement.
It does mean however that australian sellers that do not meet the US's TRS requirements will only have standard search ranking while still having enhanced search ranking TRS status on ebay AU.

Damn, I wish the search function was based on RELEVANCE rather than the varying degrees of compliance that sellers are able to meet.... ๐
As for the tracking requirement - -that all well and good in the USA where everything posted gets a FREE tracking number.
But here??? Nope.

The number on the green customs declaration form used to be trackable on the USPS tracking site so I would enter that number as the tracking number to satisfy eBay's requirements.

I think something has happened with the mail system.
You could be right.. I just had to open a dispute for INR on some cards from the US.
I ordered the cards on the 8th of Jan and they still haven't arrived..
This is the first problem I have had with a seller, often when the items didn't arrive the seller gave me a refund and I paid for them again when they eventually arrived.. At this point in time it doesn't look like the cards are showing
The number on the green customs declaration form used to be trackable on the USPS tracking site so I would enter that number as the tracking number to satisfy eBay's requirements.
I wish my seller above had known that... The guy was not budging, didn't want to give me a refund for INR just kept repeating "I sent them on the 8th of Jan to (address here) They weren't trackable." All over $5 worth of cards
You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means
