eBay sold my item for $15 less than listed. Why?

Ebay sold my item for a lower price than I listed without checking with me. They still took the same fee. 

What am I missing here?

Without any details of the transaction it would only be a guess at what you are "missing here" & I don't think a guess would be of much help to you.

'They sold' for a lower price but did you actually get less in the end?

Was it an item with the afterpay code discount that is under your completed listings?

did you have an auction with a buy-it-now option that was $15 above the final price?

If yes, then you need to know that the buy-now price on an auction IS NOT a reserve price.

If no, then I got nothing 🫣
